FiveThirtyEight addresses the Sanders ascendance.
Some of you will be crushed by the analysis. I haz a sad for you.
I can’t do much with this. There’s no point in taking apart her verbiage because it doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a string of non-sequiturs. Remember how you wrote in fifth grade? Yeah, that’s what we are dealing with. Guess who she’s in the tank for?
Mr. Trump should know he’s doing something right when the malcontents go ballistic in the press! There is no denying Donald J. Trump’s accomplishments and drive to create opportunity for every willing American to succeed. His own success is testament to the job-creating achievements made possible when one applies the courageous and tenacious pro-private sector precepts we need to fire up the economy. Trump joins a competitive field of GOP candidates that will duke it out in the arena of ideas and track records, a field representing diverse achievements. This, in contrast with the pro-big government party’s practice of merely anointing a chosen one, thus robbing voters of healthy debate.
Key to conservative’s victory is to do our own vetting of each candidate, focus on their ability to unleash America’s entrepreneurial spirit and dramatically shrink government in order to prioritize our nation’s security. That means we ignore the media’s participation in the liberals’ Pantsuit Politics of Personal Destruction. THEN, on an even playing field, in 2016 we charge forward after the radical left hears America shout, “You’re fired!”

I want to kick John McCain in the jimmy. Hard.
Everyone should read this comic about solitary confinement. Yes, criminals do terrible things, but should we torture them with isolation? Isn’t it enough that the perpetrators have been removed from polite society for decades of their life? I know I’m not taking a popular stance but we shouldn’t seek punishment motivated by revenge. I understand the notion of penitence, but blood should not follow blood. Aren’t we better than this?
No doubt that by now most of you have heard some Christian rock. It’s oxymoronic. By nature, religion does not rock. At its heart, rock is about hedonism, independence, protest, rebellion, drugs, devil worship, ennui and what Christians would call perversion. I think I’ve covered most rock themes in that list(I omit love because too often people kill the spirit of rock by being maudlin and sappy). My point is that typically the only things Christians know and get excited about is Jesus Christ, with a side of more Jesus. And all of their media is Christian. So they write what they know, sometimes in a rock format. It never works. It’s derivative and sterile.
That said, I don’t think we need atheist rock. Not specifically, anyway. “Atheism” is already a part of rock; countless songs have made fun of religion and deny God’s existence. In other words, it’s been done. I can probably cite examples off the top of my head. Here’s one about evolution and the insignificance of man against nature:
I stole the phrase “religious vomit” from this:
This is about as heretical as shit gets:
I could go on, but I won’t for space reasons. Sorry if I made you watch some ads to make a statement-that rock made for “atheists” is a bad idea. It comes off sounding as fake as Christian rock. It’s too sincere, it doesn’t flow. The reckless nature of rock is missing from the piece.
Rock is blasphemous enough. Let’s not force it.
