Jeb Bush is working hard to curry favor with the anti-intellectual crowd, otherwise known as his base:
Republican Jeb Bush said on Wednesday that the Earth’s climate is changing but that scientific research does not clearly show how much of the change is due to humans and how much is from natural causes.
What’s so amusing about AGW deniers is that they refuse to acknowledge the staggering amount of science that has been marshaled affirming the shit is real. But we can’t listen to the so-called experts:
“Look, first of all, the climate is changing. I don’t think the science is clear what percentage is man-made and what percentage is natural. It’s convoluted. And for the people to say the science is decided on, this is just really arrogant, to be honest with you,” he said.
“It’s this intellectual arrogance that now you can’t even have a conversation about it.”
It’s fairly clear. Has it occurred to Bush that naysaying the science is even more arrogant? Does Jeb have a degree, or is he just another disingenuous politician with his finger in the wind, that knows he has to get the average ignorant-ass Stratolounging Fox viewer?
That’s the right for you. Trying feverishly to scrape up the low-com-denom vote, because they are running out of demographics to dominate.
