So sayeth twits like Miss Lindsey Graham:
“I blame Obama for Iraq, not Bush,” Graham said as he toured New Hampshire. “Bush made mistakes. He corrected his mistakes. Obama leaving Iraq, ignoring the advice of all of his military commanders –he was told what would happen if you leave Iraq with no troops left behind.”
Made mistakes? Is that all? Killing and maiming tens of thousands of troops because your neocon crazies wanted to find any reason possible to justify a US invasion of Iraq? No blame for that…fucking wow. And you are a sitting senator and don’t know that withdrawal plans from Iraq were greenlit by George Bush? We couldn’t stay. There was no immunity for troops from Iraqi law after 2011, you dumb shit.
If I were inclined to be paranoid, I could surmise that Bush ratfucked Obama by guaranteeing that whatever happened in Iraq post-occupation looked like his fault. After all, the SOFA was signed in December of ’08.
But to blame Obama for the dissolution of Iraq is absurd. It’s all George Bush’s baby, from dick to dorsal. Lindsey Graham is unserious and a liar. Fuck him in the eye.
